Organizer

GTI Friidrettsklubb is the organizing club behind two of Rogaland’s biggest running events, the Stavanger Marathon and the 3-Sjøersløpet. The club has an inclusive training environment, and is suitable for all levels. If you want to try out our joint training sessions, we meet at Stavanger Stadium every Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm.

Volunteer work

Sports teams have a great opportunity to earn money for their team by doing a job on race day. All our drink stations and most of our trail guards are hired. Many teams are regulars, but we always need new forces.

Our charity

Ønsketransporten (The wish transport) contributes to people with illness and/or very limited mobility being able to fulfill their wishes. It could be attending weddings, funerals, anniversaries and other important occasions, or experiencing a football match, a concert, or going to a place of significance. the trip in for a chat, a bit of warmth, get clean clothes, take a shower and get a good meal of hot food.
